The Picture will show you where the EEPROM is located at, but here goes some of the Manufacturer’s Specs and Manual for this model. If you have the BIN file for this model or addition pictures? Please let me know and I will post it here. | | A21e MotherBoard with the EEPROM, Click on the Picture for a full view |

Here is some addition pictures that a user sent me: He said "pictures of EEPROM location on the motherboard of an A21e-2655-73G ThinkPad. You already have a picture of A21e motherboard on your website, but the motherboard of my A21e Thinkpad is of very different layout. This may have to do with "A21e" just being the series. For more exact identification, the so called Model Type (MT) is needed. In the case of my ThinkPad it is MT 2655-73G. The dismanteling manual also refers to the MT classes in almost every 2nd step so that's why I suppose the shown A21e motherboard on your website is of another model type. Okay. Now considering the 4 photes attached. En princip they are 2 photos only, but both in a non-marked and a marked version. Very important: pic2 shows, that the 8pin EEPROM (Amtel 24RF08CN) can be *seen* from outside without dismanteling, after just removing the Battery Pack (Chapter 1010 in the HMM*) and the Mini PCI adapter (Chapter 1050 in the HMM*), but it can not be acessed for soldering, as it is partially overlaped by the body. So for access to it you have to fully dismantel the notebook (chapter 1180 "System Board" in the HMM*) for soldering. |
