IBM ThinkPad X40 Tutorial

I am going to give you a quick tutorial on how to take apart your ThinkPad X40 and recover the password yourself! One of the first steps is to read the Hardware manual for your ThinkPad so you can have a better understanding on what need to be done. Once you read the hardware manual and have a idea on what's need to be done? let's get started !!!

Step 1. First step is turn OFF YOUR THINKPAD and then take off the battery from the ThinkPad X40, we will need to do these step to get too the EEPROM.

Step 2. We need to take off the Hard Drive from the laptop so take off the screw for the hard drive and pull it out.

Step 3. We are going to take off the Keyboard, this is the first step in taking off the screw in the back but we will have to take them all the screws from the back off at the end! but we need to disconnect the Keyboard first.
