Answer: Yes, it can recover newer models of ThinkPad’s! There is a list on Joe’s website on what type of Models will the KeyMaker work on.

[4.] Do I have to solder three wires onto the EEPROM?
Answer: Yes, you will have to solder three little wires onto the EEPROM unless you used a Micro Grabber or a SOIC Clip.

[5.] Can I send the bin file to you? So you can recover the password?
Answer: No, You can’t send the file to me! You have to have Joe recover the password for you. I can’t recover the password for you at all.
